They're structure problems. Firm Ground Press exists to hand people the structure — on paper, one page at a time.
Most money advice quietly blames you. Try harder. Want it more. Download this app and check it every day forever. It treats a lack of structure like a lack of character — and then wonders why people burn out and quit.
We think that's backwards. Give a motivated person a clear, finite structure — every number in one place, one method chosen on purpose, a finish line they can see — and the "willpower" mostly takes care of itself. That belief is the whole reason Firm Ground Press exists.
That line is our entire product philosophy, and we mean every word of it:
Firm Ground Press began with a simple frustration: the tools for getting out of debt were either bloated software or vague motivation — and almost none of them respected the person actually doing the hard work. So we started building the opposite. Plain, print-ready workbooks that do one job well, that you can fill in at a kitchen table, and that are honest about what they are: organization, not a magic fix.
The Debt Freedom Blueprint is where that philosophy lives right now. The Builder Blueprint is where it goes next — because getting out of debt and building toward something deserve the same steady, paper-first treatment.
A note on why this really exists: I got tired of watching people I care about stay stuck — not because they were careless, but because no one ever handed them a system. Firm Ground Press is my answer to that.
Getting your money right comes down to two unglamorous habits: paying a little attention every day, and planning on purpose instead of hoping it works out. Build those two, and "broke" stops being a permanent address. That's the whole mission — help people stop being broke, one page at a time.
